Internet cafes II: What are you looking for?
I am currently in the process of getting together an internet lounge. It will be separated into the dining area and the computer area. The dining area will have a fireplace and tons of comfy couches as well as tables for eating and drinking. We will feature everything from homemade pizza to sandwiches on homemade bread, soups, scones, biscotti and the usual coffee shop fare.
The computer area will have about 20 computers spaced out enough for privacy as well as headsets and popular games like world of warcraft and the like. There will also be private soundproof rooms in the back with big screen tvs. We will have everything to rent from rock band to oblivion (games are free but require a deposit. you rent the rooms hourly).
I want this to be a great hangout spot for teenagers and college students and gamers alike. Am I missing anything else I should add? Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated.
Dude! We use to have an internet cafe around here called Extranet Cafe!
It was so fun and me and my older brother always use to go there until they closed down because of food poisoning.
Make sure you have responsible people cooking food and make sure it doesnt get too old.
Have gaming tournaments frequently with a prize thats worth it so people will keep coming back!!!
Also have consoles like 360 and ps3 and wii. Tvs hanging alot of places so people can watch stuff like mtv or whatever while eating or just chilling.
Make sure the internet computer part is separated from the other sounds in the building, people take internet gaming serious. Make sure the computers are good gaming ones!!!!
Make sure its kind of dark by the computer areas too
