Where do you think my hermit crab went?
My hermit crab that has escaped twice is once again missing. Any ideas where it could have gone? (ex. corners of rooms, outside even, under some thing) Or does it not like its habitat? I have another one in the cage and plenty of food, water, pebbles, and even a nice little decoration tree. What could be wrong and why is he escaping?
Hermit Crabs like dark warm places, since they're nocturnal and live in tropical places. They also like to climb so somewhere dark, warm, and high would be s good place to look. Mine have escaped plenty of times and I usually found them climbing something or under my bed. Hope this helps!
