Recommendations, anyone, for English style tea rooms in Los Angeles County?
I'd prefer a relaxing but not too " country cottage style" ambience with good scones, sandwiches and, of course, teas.
There are a couple places that are excellent....these first ones are all in Pasadena..
The Rose Cottage - this is run by a lovely man and his wife and very traditional (see link)
The Ritz Carlton Pasadena - Serves a very nice tea in the Lounge..this is a great place to visit it was once owned by the Huntington's (see link)
Scarlet Tea Room - I have going to teas for years.. and I have to say this new place is a winner....this would be my choice.. but you must have reservations!
The Peninsula Beverly Hills - the tea is expensive and just OK.(see link)
There are many many other places....but I think these are the best.
