Whats a good topic to write about (for English)?
i have got to write an essay about a topic for english and also do a talk about it. we can choose anything we want. It needs to hav arfuements for and against it. but i want something that a lot of people hav opinions on but something that is UNIQUE and different from everyone else'. some of the stuff people are doin are:
1. should animals be used in medical testing?
2. Cloning
3. Euthanasia
4. Abortion
5. Marrige
6. Divorce
7. Fox Hunting
8. War
Also if you could iv some advantages and disadvantages of the topic that u think is good 2 write about
How about intergation? In the UK and in the states? Talk about the pros and cons. Involve Martin Luther King etc.
Or eating disorders? Talk about Bulimia and Anorexia, explain how it's not always just about being skinny, but depression and other problems, like divorce and work.
Talk about the world of fashion? About how it inspires people, but also causes them to feel worthless. For help on this I'd take a look the the movie the September Issue. It's £3.99 to buy on iTunes.
Talk about love? I know it's corny but you could maybe post a question on here about how you know when you're in love, how it makes you feel. But then talk about the negatives.
Or how about rich upper class english? Eg. Sloan Rangers. Talk about how their lives seem perfect but are really crumbling.
