The Matrix - The end scene where Neo fights Smith
Pokemon 4ever - When Celibi is revived. A little corny, but wonderful music (yes...I know, but it's a good scene)
Rocky V - when rocky fights tommy in the alley and everyones cheering
Silent Hill - when Rose and Cybil are trapped in a boiler room with Pyramid Head outside.
Resident Evil - The laser security corridor. when the hacker is trying to shut it down but the beams cut everyone up
Halloween 2 - Near the end when Michael walks right through the glass door.
The Golden Compass - When Lyra and Pan are put in the intercision chamber. Such emotion in that scene.

Aliens--at the end, when Riley comes out in the machine loader and says "Get away from her, you b----!" She's been terrified through two movies and seen people killed right and left. At that point, she says she's through being scared. I always want to cheer at that point.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon--At the end of the first "fight" scene, where woman is chasing the young girl who has just stolen the sword. The music and fight are just incredible. After the first time, I realized I had been holding my breath.
To Kill a Mockingbird--At the end of the trial, when Atticus is about to walk out of the courtroom. The preacher says "Jean Louise, stand up. Your father's passing." The people will never be able to thank or repay Atticus for standing up for Tom, but the best they can do is show their respect for him.
Raiders of the Lost Ark--familiarity breeds contempt, but think back to the first time you saw the final scene of this one. The power of the ark destroys everyone and proves it will not be misused. Indiana and Marian are left alone and shaking with fear.
Jurassic Park--again, think to the first time you saw the T Rex show up (especially in the theater). The adrenaline rush was not to be matched
The Shining (original)--The confrontation between Wendy and Jack. Usually, in horror movies, I shout at the hero/heroine for doing stupid things like running up the stairs instead of out the front door. This is one of the few horror movies that I remember being so scared I didn't blame wendy for being too scared to get close enough to actually make contact with the bat the first few times she swung it.
Saving Private Ryan--opening battle scene. I don't remember any music; I just remember holding my breath through the entire scene. I was scared for everyone on the screen.
Ben-Hur--the chariot race. maybe it's old and isn't in the same style of the modern blockbuster, but it's still a blood pumping scene
The Night of the Hunter--the "duet" of the Rock of Ages between Lillian Gish and Robert Mitchum. It's a slow boil, but the tension between good and evil in that "duet" is palpable and you can feel them fighting for the children in that one scene.
Psycho--the shower scene. it suffers a bit when compared to today's bloodbaths, but it was the first and comes as a complete surprise.
