Romantic costume film..pls help me out !?
I'm looking for a romantic,costume (probably) tv film/mini series..I saw this when i was a little girl..so i can't recall many things. It's from the end of the 80's or from the early 90's I guess. Maybe it portrays the victorian era..but I'm not sure. I remember a guy..he was rich,and stern/gruff,and handsome, and of course there was a poor girl..who maybe worked for the guys family..Maybe its set in a school for girls..for poor girls..or in an orphan home..or its just the rich guys home. She worked / lived there...And the house was crowded with other girls, and once she fell off the stairs..and the guy took her in his arms...And an old morose lady (maybe the mother of the guy) watched them with gimlet-eyes. That's all i can remember...hope somebody would know this film...And sorry for my bad english :S
