What should I paint on my small wooden plaque?
I got a circlular plaque to hang on my wall, but I don't know what to paint on it! Any suggestions?
*Please don't suggest anything with lots of light blue involved, because I am hanging it on a baby blue wall.*
Try something that looks intense and quite detailed that is really quite simple. My suggestion would be to start by painting the plaque white, and make sure you can't see through it. Then paint a word in black block letters, like Imagine, Inspire, or even your name. Then take different colors you would find in your room and splash it onto the plaque for the sprayed look. Just dip the paint brush into different colors then flick it on. You could even bring out the color of your wall by splashing some baby blue onto it, but not too much.
My cousin did this and it looks amazing. She is only in grade 3, so that tells you it doesn't involve a lot of artistic skills. Its also quick so it doesn't take up a lot of time!
I strongly suggest you give this look a try!
